As I walked through the crowded halls of City Hall, my ombre hair bobbing with each step, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. My date had told me to meet him here at 2pm sharp, and I was running just a few minutes late.
I scanned the room for his familiar face, squinting through my light brown eyes to cut through the bright fluorescent lighting overhead. Finally, I spotted him waiting by the entrance of Council Chamber A.
He smiled warmly as I approached him, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Sorry I'm late," I said sheepishly.

"No worries," he replied with a chuckle. "I was starting to think you stood me up."

We spent the next hour or so wandering around City Hall, discussing politics and current events. It wasn't until we stumbled upon a quiet courtyard that things got interesting.
As we leaned against the cool concrete wall, I felt his hand brush against mine, sending shivers down my spine. Suddenly, he was standing inches from me, his eyes locked onto mine.

"I've been wanting to do this all day," he whispered, his breath hot against my ear.

Before I could even process what was happening, his lips were on mine, and we were lost in the heat of our first kiss. The city bustled around us, but it was as if time had stopped.
Eventually, we made our way back to the entrance of City Hall, arms wrapped around each other tightly. As we stepped out into the bright sunlight, I couldn't help but smile - this had definitely been a memorable afternoon.
