The sun rose slowly over the horizon of the bustling harbor, casting a warm glow over the boats and piers that lined its shores. Amongst the morning activity, one figure stood out - 75-year-old Agnes. Her frail yet muscular frame was unmistakable in her plaid microskirt, which was just long enough to cover her wrinkled knees.

Her dirty blonde hair was pulled back into a bun, revealing the squinty blue eyes that had seen more of life than most people could imagine. She wore glasses perched on the end of her nose, which gave her an air of studiousness despite the otherwise somewhat disheveled appearance she presented.

Around her neck hung a cross, a constant reminder to this devout woman of her unwavering faith. Her tanned skin was etched with fine lines and wrinkles, but it only added to her rugged charm. As she walked along the pier, her socks - faded blue with white stripes - visible beneath the hem of her skirt.

A green hair tie kept her locks out of her face as she puffed on a cigarette, taking in the salty sea air and watching the world wake up around her. Her body might be frail now, but Agnes was still a force to be reckoned with - she had worked hard her whole life to get where she was.

And it showed, in every line of her face, every wrinkle on her skin. As she stopped at the edge of the pier and gazed out at the water, a look of quiet contentment washed over her features.

This was her spot - this place that had been a part of her life for so many years now, where she could sit in silence, listen to the sound of the waves lapping against the shore, and just be. The world might keep moving forward without her, but out here, at least, Agnes felt alive.
